Although the Piker's Lodge Hotel is situated in the tranquil heart of the Irish countryside it is only a one and a half-hours from Dublin and two and a half from Belfast, both of which have international airports.

From Dublin
Follow the N3 through Navan towards Cavan. At the main round about before Cavan town head straight for Cavan town and turn left on the N55 to Ballinagh town then towards Lough Gowna. (Sign Posted)

From Belfast
Follow the M1 towards Enniskillen, from Enniskillen head for Cavan town and follow the route as given from Dublin.

From Galway
There are a number of routes to take from Galway to the Piker's Lodge - the N6 towards Athlone then to Longford town. From Longford town head towards Granard town then straight to Lough Gowna Village.
